I'd take holmes, COS and picks for Charlie...

Dempsey hard not to like but he's not an A grader.

Miers, Neale are just steak knives...
Jeebers…

Holmes, O’Sullivan and picks.

It’s Charlie Curnow we are trading, not Frankie Evans!

Again, I'll ask... who are you willing to give up?

You've been adamant against trading Charlie... who's going to fetch us a top 10 pick... yes top 10 not bloody top 15 like you've been spouting...

Tigers finish last and bid on Cody at #1 we will need a top 10 pick to go with our first to match the bid...

1, We use our TDK compo to trade into the first round next year.

2, we then package that pick PLUS our own 2026 first round pick PLUS our 2027 first round pick into a couple of high end 2026 first round picks.

In summary, we spin THREE first round picks into TWO Top 15 picks.

It doesn’t HAVE to involve Charlie.

Might require some minor bits and pieces to sort outside of that but Austin will get it done. Relax man!

(NB: Where it will get tricky is having sufficient draft capital in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th rounds to secure the likes of Dean, Ison, Chesser, Khamis & Jiath).

Rowell is exactly what we need. Bleeds blue and would die on the sword. It won’t happen but geez…imagine if we get Anderson and the lust for Carlton grows.

TA

Will we have enough left over for a quality curator?

Grade A fertiliser?

If a player like Humphrey is involved (massive emphasis on if ofc) I doubt you get a whole lot else in the deal
Indeed.

Humphrey, Pick 6, 2026 r2
For
Curnow, TDK compo

Would take that in a heartbeat. Humphrey is a seriously special player. Suns would be idiotic to include him in any discussions for anyone.

After looking into his issues.

It would be better for Hill’s life, if he requested a trade to a WA club.
Lets just say there's a reason his partner(ex) has taken the kids interstate and left him in Melbourne.

Whether he's in WA or not that won't help him see them until he cleans up his off field life.

That's straight from a working member at the Pies. Still up in the air whether he'll be playing for them next year from what I've heard.

Well done Sturt, and well deserved......Marty Mattner destined to coach in the AFL one day perhaps?!!
Thanks mate, hopefully the Double Blues can keep him for a little while longer but with 3 flags now, he's surely being looked at.

Vossy was there yesterday, and at the After Party with his son Casey, so who knows... Carlton needs a few assistants 👀

Inside walls hanky panky, can’t blame his partner going home…

Is Alex Holt worth a sneaky look as a rookie?

They're not going to want to lose ground on points this year... it's essentially the last year to cash in...

Humphrey + #7 + GCF1
For
Charlie + #10 + #21

Probably works best for both clubs.

A clear cut yeah-nah answer

The skipper needed to be stronger with his answer.

“We love Charlie. He’s contracted. We’re all disappointed in the year but we’re professionals and we stick together in good times and bad. I would be bloody disappointed in Charlie if he bailed on the group mid contract given how much the club has supported him through his injuries over the years. As leaders we all need to take responsibility and turn this around. Charlie included”.

Fixed it for you Patty.

To be honest I'm not sure - I'm not seeing too much that makes him stand out. 20y.o., 5 goals, averaged 2 tackles per game, averaged 15 disposals per game, but honestly the whole team was great all season so they all did their part.

I'll watch the GF again today and see if I missed anything.

I also need to catch up with the full game, but it was more just moments and various other highlights I've seen says to me he might have something to work with in an AFL program. Reminds me of doch the way he runs and kicks.....seems to be a solid, penetrating kick, runs with the ball and gains meters, has scope across HB or wing. Solid overhead for his size too. Need to remember he is 20 in his first year of senior footy....may need to see him play SANFL for another 12 months to see if there is a genuine improvement arc.
