Not sure about anyone else, but man I’m struggling so hard to get anything done at work. Just can’t focus 😂
Lucky I work for myself.

That was me last week against the arch enemy.

Both my brothers are Hawthorn and l couldn't handle the thought of losing another knock out game to them.

I couldn't resist sending a WhatsApp msg the following day saying so much for beating us when it count, which I've been hearing for many years:)

Looking like the Lions will have 8 players under 22 in the team, a few of which made the 22 under 22 team.
With Annable, Allen, Draper to arrive. Hipwood, Answerth fit again.

If they can just let us have this one I'd happily let them dominate footy and more importantly deny the devil sporn from Waverley Dingley for the next half a decade.

I don't know why. But I was more nervous the game against Hawthorn then I am this week for the Granny

62yrs since we had defeated them in a knock out final may have been a factor

Same- losing to Hawks is a nightmare; losing to Lions is much less painful- they are the team to beat, have been all year, and we have succeeded once. If Lions end up winning, we know why- just too good this time. If we get up, it'll be proof that we got our act together perfectly, and became the # 1 team in the comp.

Has our success in the Qualifying Final tactically snookered us? We've shown all our cards now so the Lions will go in able to prepare for everything we did to them two and a half weeks ago. So from that perspective you'd almost think we're better served trying something different on Saturday....but then, if we did that, we'd be moving away from match-ups and tactics that we know work against Brisbane to match-ups and tactics that might be less optimal.

I have this horrible feeling that Mullin to McCluggage won't work this time.

I’m not sure there’s much lions could do to combat the way the cats played , it’s not like Lions deliberately went out of their way to drop that game in an effort to see the tactics

Doesn’t work like that

Simmo and Horse discussed this on 360 this evening and basically said Scott is ahead of the game and will change things up on Saturday.

They showed footage of Atkins on Newk in the prelim and said he could play the same role on McCluggage, with Mullin instead doing a hard tag on Ashcroft.
