Any events worth attending this week in Melbourne?

E.g live shows

The boy and I are heading to AAMI Park for the NRL Prelim on Friday night if you can stomach watching league.

We’re not Storm or Sharks fans, more just keen to go to a sporting event with a bit on the line. Tickets are reasonable and were still available last time I looked on Ticketek.

Would recommend getting down the parade early and checking it out, can get busy as the day gets on. Captains run is a must, electric atmosphere, and yes, it is free. It’s also great to go into the mcg before the following day.

Would recommend walking in Fitzroy from there. The lions pop up shop at the Fitzroy Town Hall, and then there’s always a big crowd at the Napier hotel across the road, which is perfect for a beer and a look at all the old Fitzroy memorabilia

Just going on this smallish site within the larger BF site.

How difficult is it to get that magic capacity of 100,024

Even if all the swapping of tickets goes ahead as planned it is extremely difficult to get that capacity
Even 100,000 is an incredible number to turn up on the day.
People could get sick, flight gets delayed or cancelled, decide standing is really going to be an issue etc, etc.

I missed in the ballot and have a few ticket options, I still have PTSD from sitting in the pies cheers squad in 23 so don't want to end up in the cats cheers squad , which club is at the city end this year?

Based on ticket allocations shared on here, safe to assume Brisbane are at the city end M33 (or there about).
