Look i think the Cats will win and im hoping rather convincingly , but basically everyone is tipping Geel to win , good in a way , but it can make you a little bit uneasy

I heard Jarrod Schoefield on the radio last night , was a mid field coach at the Eagles in 25 and their caretaker coach in 24

He said he was talking to i think his name was Mark Trevino the head fitness bloke at the Eagles and they said 21 days re Rhys Stanley , 21 days is the standard recovery time for a hamstring , so he should be good to go

But they said a calf is a totally different issue , 4-6 weeks at best , and you need a lot of miles in the legs , thus they both said theyd play HIM as Sub at best

The key to the game for mine is for Geelong to absolutely crush them right From the word go , as Fred Kersley the trainer of the mighty galloper Northerly said to the jockey Patrick Payne when asked by him how he should ride the horse , Kersley said , ride it like the best horse in the race and dominate them , and thats exactly what i want Geelong to do to Brisbane

A team has to put 6-7 unanswered goal against us at the start of each quarter because we will peg them back in stoppage time.

Ive never seen a more focused Cats side in my lifetime. One thing I know is this team won't be overawed by the occasion.

I can't help but think we'll win comfortably after what will be a tight first half.

I'm predicting the Lions to be particularly physical towards Mullin to free up the Suitcase. I wouldn't put it past Zorko to do something extremely dumb and worthy of six weeks, and then just retire.

Our 2022 side was extremely focused, 16 wins in a row and wiped the floor in the PF & GF.
