He's a great person, Shaun, very personable and happy. what you see is what you get. Of all the players, he loves having a chat with anyone. He really deserves all that comes his way after so much patience, and his preference for delaying consecutive AFL games whilst his family settled in with issues around a new (at the time) baby.

Now I'm worried!

I've watched the preview videos on the AFL website with Nathan Brown and Kane Cornes every week this season. In our first two finals, both tipped against us, but this week, both have tipped us.

As I said, now I'm worried!

Are you sure Cornes tipped against us in the prelim? He’s been tipping a Cats v Bris GF for weeks:

Yeah what I thought, but stopped myself- we can't infer he wouldn't be professional.
It's usually a pretty clear cut candidate on the winning team anyway.
Wasn't Jonathan Brown on it one year? Oh he was- 2022, I Smith.
It's a very prestigious position for Jack Reiwoldt (ex Chair) to be on it consecutive years .
Would prefer five non participating coaches than media people.

I'd love a fast start... already getting in my head that they'll kick 3 before we've had an inside 50, just so being close early feels ok.

Id be wary of playing too well into their back half rebound by blazing away. We'll run the game out better so being a bit careful with the entries early might help

No Berry, Neale very underdone, question marks over Dunkley. We have one key out but one we’ve covered well before. Won’t get a better chance to take down what could be a generational team than this.

Of Brisbane’s five best mids, one is missing (Berry), one is rolling the dice (Neale) and two are known to be carrying injuries (Clug and Dunkley).

Our four best mids - Smith, Holmes, Danger and Atkins - are in ominous form and should be ready to perform.

Riewoldt and Lewis are petty salty, especially Lewis it's almost comical seeing him react to us winning. Matthews and Browny, though very lucid operators, are Brisbane men. Buckley seems pretty neutral and he tipped us.

It's one thing to hit top speed at training, but can be do the repeat efforts and find that acceleration needed during a game

Heard L Hodge on what ever show he was on, was saying that his direct opponent should stand on his left side and give nudges to work into his right calf
