Good move IMO, McKenna very good depth as a small forward or back at the least.
This is the crux of the issue isn’t it? We’re going to lose real heart and soul players like Ah Chee and Starcevich (and possibly Bailey next year) to
leave salary cap space to pay overs for 2 injury prone players from other clubs on big $$$ (so that other clubs get adequate compensation picks)
And we’ve already been burnt by doing that with Doedee who is eating up generous cap space and hasn’t played for 2 years and has 2 more years left

Supposedly Crom have offered Ah Chee a five year deal.
That’s life changing really for Cal. Especially if it’s significantly more money.
You could also see it as the end of a chapter. Celebrating his time with us.Soz WCE he’s staying

He'd be good to keep on. Wouldn't be surprised though if he decides to remain in Ireland instead.Good move IMO, McKenna very good depth as a small forward or back at the least.
Henry SmithUnfortunately good KPFs and rucks don’t come cheap. Especially luring them interstate. And we are in need of both while we are in the hottest part of this iteration of our build.
Running Morris, gallop and big O next year isn’t sustainable to bank wins across a 23 round season.
While I wasn’t hot on Drapes, no one has yet suggested another ruck who was gettable, cost us nothing in draft capital and can plug and play next year.

How can you possibly guarantee that?lol, Ah Chee is only going to chase the $$$$ at Adelaide. We are losing him because he wants to go. It was his choice to leave. The club would have been nuts if they paid him what Adelaide was offering him. If they did that, then I guarantee you we wouldn't be able to afford Bailey etc.
Henry should spend his off-season running up sand dunes at Portsea with Percy Cerutty. He didnt look much better than Hipwood in the ruck at AFL level
Looks great at VFL level but I was disappointed with his performance when he got a chance in the seniors
And he has a reasonable chance to play in a flag with Adelaide.

Brighton Homes, tradie apprenticeships, house & land package, sales reps, interior design. Loads of options to rort.Do we have a Cotton On-type business we can use to fort the salary cap and keep all our players?
Matho stopped for a chat and photo. He seems like a good guy.Dev walked past us outside Flinders Street station when we were down there, I can not recall which day it was, the whole 5 days is a bit of a blur now.
Also saw Matho and Robbo at the Fan Zone following the parade, Matho waved hello, Robbo just kept on walking.

Exit meetings must be starting to happen soon. Twomey just said Cal will request a trade in 24-48 hours
Not an issue ... the Saints would recuse themselves on moral grounds from such poisoned procedural fruitI hope Tasmania take all of St Kildas father sons.
Matho is a legend. He bleeds lions probably more than most ever would, and he's still super close with all of our current players. All round great dude and i wish nothing but success for him.Matho stopped for a chat and photo. He seems like a good guy.
