Out of all the players on the departure merry-go-round, he's the one the intrigues me the most.

Is there any hope in hell we could get him to head west or is that just a fantasy in my head?

I don't think people realise just how close it is. Last week I drove from north of Melb to a popular Geelong beach in just under 90 mins. I would be lucky to get from Cockburn to Joondalup in the same time (or unlucky, depending which side of the river you're from)

Every club should have a flight allowance based on KMs travelled. Wouldnt be hard to work out and should be added onto match payments automatically. We've actually had a few concessions lately, I'm not sure we'll be able to get that one over the line any time soon though

It would get over the line pretty quick if WC and GC pushed for it. Although no doubt it will then be implemented as a flight allowance for coastal teams only and the definition of a coastal team will be something like "have Coast in your name or a feline mascot"
