If he’s after a flag, Suns is the most obvious choice, madness to think anything else. Elite midfield, excellent forward line, good defence, AFL nepo baby, proven to be able to win a final and away at that. Compared to a team that looked into September with a 4 man midfield rotation and a gassed 23.

Criticising the success aspect is pretty weak.
Thanks for the “feedback” but really not the type of “feedback” we are looking for.

If we are determined to add a mid this year and isn't Oliver.

I would be approaching North

14, Butts and a sweetener for Wardlaw, he is out of next year and they have a cliff coming paying all these mids

Surely that wouldn't get close to the trade value for Wardlaw.

He's a two top 10 pick sort of player under contract

Breaks down only in and under guy who doesnt even rack it. I would rather powell who is on the outer there

Wasnt a fan of the petracca deal .. money, length, age and now wanting an extra year. I think it's a good thing for us. Oliver has me more interested, although that also potentially comes with risk.

You're not surprised, I bloody well am, Bailey Humphrey is absolutely projecting as being a similar talent to Petracca, one is 30 the other 21.
I'd almost argue Humphrey is capable of the same output as Petracca in 2026.

Who would you take out of Petracca and Humphrey if both wanted to come to the Crows? For me it's Humphrey and it's not even close.
I think you misinterpreted my post, I agree about Humphrey and that’s why I’m confused at them bringing in Petracca

Their forward line is pretty bad. They could easily have Petracca and Humphrey rotating mid-forward like we do (occasionally) with Rankine and Rachele

Their other smaller forwards are guys like Ben Ainsworth who suck

Disagree on that, they have Lombard and Rogers coming through as well for similar roles

They're both mids aren't they?

I just don't see a club in the contention window wanting to roll out a second year midfielder as a small forward when they could rotate Petracca through there

Latrelle Pickett ?
By the way there is another Kickett small forward in this draft WA's Leon Kickett that might garner more interest than Latrelle Sumner-Pickett given he's been a late call up up to the National Draft after originally only having a state invite. Unlike Latrelle he's draft age not a 20 year old overeager.

Where was Sumner-Pickett projected ? 2nd round ?

Sounds like there will be ample money to make a play for Bailey and then NWM in two years. Plus anyone else.

Push hard for Oliver now.

Just saw that apparently JUH’s meeting with GC went “very well”. Given Christian’s reported disappointment with his premiership teammate Oliver, will be interesting to see how he enjoys Jamarra’s antics. Oh well 🙃

not potentially. it comes with huge risk!

but sometimes you need to take a risk... but there's a reason no one wants a 28yo brownlow medalist bull mid.

oh if only we had an academy, father son A grade mids and 3rd party deals that extend past free hiluxs and radio segments.

Don’t think he’ll leave, but I’d take him at this point

All hell breaks loose if a Capt of a Club seeks a trade (Merrett) ....but apparently, nothing to see here, if a Club wants to trade their Capt

Throw out all the rules, you grew up believing in Football ....there's a new world order now
