We offered JSOS a contract befitting of his position in the game. $100k per season above average. You lot thought JSOS was a superstar, but when cucked by the Saints suddenly reckoned he was crap
Wilkie is probably crap now as well.
So many Bulldog and Carlton supporters on a Geelong/ St.Kilda thread with their noses out of joint. Very amusing behaviour![]()
Debatable actually. And Battle was out of contract. Not true
He wanted to keep Battle.
There are only sick burns on here from you.Is your toast burning as well?![]()

Ha! Love the reverse praise! There are only sick burns on here from you.
Mate you have really put Sainta supporters back in their box
Great work

You do know Saints offered the same $$$ as the Bulldogs but one more year. See their compo for him. Apparently met Bevo and ran a mile, like Wilkie did after meeting him.We offered JSOS a contract befitting of his position in the game. $100k per season above average.
His Dad disagreed and thought he was worth more
Anyways. Not derailing anymore, hopefully the aints are consistent in their seriousness.

Only if they are burning. What if like me there's no toast but bangers and mash? Should I be worried?
He finished 3rd in the b and f.Debatable actually.
We were very happy to get that comp pick.
That’s not to say we handled the situation well though.
One of the more straight forward "big moves". 1st round pick this year or next and move on
your correct...this whole thread is all over the place.I'd say this thread had gone to the dogs, but that wouldn't account for the Blues supporters, am I right? View attachment 2445827
It was in regard to contracted players. Battke was a FA, not the same leverage. Not true
He wanted to keep Battle.
Yeah, this is a pretty stress free trade conversation, because it's pretty clear it will result in a win-win-win, or nothing at all, which is still fine.We will offer 17 and they will say no.
They will want the future 1st we will say no.
I expect 17 and a later pick (maybe a r2 or similar) to be our last offer.
Who knows whether they accept it or pay him to play full forward.
Something like this. Or maybe involved in another trade. We will offer 17 and they will say no.

I didn’t say Battle wasn’t a good player. We did miss him this year.He finished 3rd in the b and f.
Tauru is a good but looks like u burnt a pick on Travaglia.
Also Saints had a tantrum when Battle left and told him not to come to b and f.
So not really debatable.
You wanted to keep him. You missed him this season which is why you have gone after Silvagni as a replacement.
your correct...this whole thread is all over the place.
Still great to see Rodney Dangerfield, miss him!

Whatever happens it will probably work out as a fair trade that neither set of supporters will be happy with.
I feel hardball would have been played more if the Steele situation hadn't occurred. However if Steele leaves they may want to keep Marshall. I feel they wouldn't mind keeping one but not both, and currently my money is on Steele staying.
being called an unserious club by a St Kilda fan is actually hilarious. Your list manager literally just gave his son $200k per year more than the next team to play for you.You do know Saints offered the same $$$ as the Bulldogs but one more year. Seems their compo for him. Apparently met Bevo and ran a mile, like Wilkie did after meeting him.
You being proven to be an unserious club has really rattled you hasn't it?
Got luck in getting a quality backman. Hope you next effort is a bit more serious, somehow I doubt it![]()
Aaanndd another salty pug from that most unserious of clubs. Go away the grown ups are talkingbeing called an unserious club by a St Kilda fan is actually hilarious. Your list manager literally just gave his son $200k per year more than the next team to play for you.
Then you pay TDK probably $400k per year compared to what anyone else would pay.
And then wonder why Marshall wants out.
Listen, this is all well and good, but have you thought about involving 3 other clubs in this trade, and also making sure that it doesn't go through until 15 minutes to deadline????Cats give: Pick 17, Cats 2026 2nd Round Pick
Cats get: Rowan Marshall and Saints Pick 47 (3rd Round Pick)
Saints give: Rowan Marshall and Saints Pick 47 (3rd Round Pick)
Saints get: Pick 17, Cats 2026 2nd Round Pick
Sounds about right? Cats will start with Pick 17 by itself, Saints will then ask for future first, Cats will counter with something like this and Saints accept.
