Have heard from a reliable source that Finbar Maley is on Sydney's hit list to replace Jack Buller for their key forward depth. Collingwood have also enquired about him...
Type of fringe player that’d come out and kick four against us….

Happy enough for him to go.

For someone whose marking is meant to be their one wood he drops an awful lot of marks.

Yea, he won’t be at north next year.

we'd be dumb to let him go. Sure he needs to work on his game, but our structure looked better with him in the team. Something there to work with.

Trembath has rendered him superfluous.

Especially with Zurhaar and Curtis also down there.

Also there's been some clearer inferences recently we see Whitlock forward, wasn't mentioned by Rawlings as part of our key defensive stock.

Trembath has played 3 games, sure they were good performances, but I wouldn't be cutting Maley on the back of that.

Cam goes missing, and he doesn't provide a tall marking target like Maley does.

Edmund went with that 4 or 5 weeks back. If he could kick i'd keep him, but he can't.

And the midfield.

The reality is we have lost most of our top end depth advantages and are back in the pack tbh.

Thomas gone, Phillips gone, Duursma TBC and Powell floundering.

We needed another top pick to stem the bleeding, like FOS provided…

We are now a mile behind some clubs we were considered neck and neck with 2 years ago.

Fair enough, I think our top few have the potential to dominate games, but obviously the mix isn't there at the moment.

Maley would be a better back up ruck/forward than CCJ with upside. Then to keep him.

Yeah another arsetute decision by the club to give a bloke a contract for next yeah that can’t get on the park, has shown nothing at all over a guy that is raw but at least has a go and got on the park…

🤢🤮

You have to laugh at the Jake Rogers situation. The suns midfield situation was almost identical when he was drafted - Rowell, Anderson and Touk - Now you can either add Touk or replace him with Trac or Humphries and it’s quite similar. He was fully aware of what he was up against and there is no shame playing on a HFF and being the 6th or 7th bloke through that midfield as a teenager. If that reasonable situation doesn’t suit, well you should have nominated for the open draft and hope to get selected by a club who needs a short little mid. What a toss bag.
