The only mutually beneficial trade I can possibly see considering Freo are involved and Bris get 16 would be something like

Eagles trade: 16 + 23 + 37
Brisbane Trade: Starcevich + 19
Freo Trade: 12 + 33

Eagles get: Starcevich + 12
Brisbane get: 16 + 33 + 37
Freo get: 19 + 23

Of course Eagles could have also just been bent over.

Freo getting 19, sounds a lot like my proposed trade except WC getting 33 so maybe a future going Brisbanes way?

So basically a central trade of 12, 16 and 19 moving between the 3 clubs, with a variety of 2nds / picks / Starcevich moving around elsewhere. Don’t hate it. Think this is a whole offseason view trade for sure, not my favourite thing but could look good by the end of the draft

Based on breadcrumbs tweets I don't get why Freo are involved.

Brisbane don't need 16 or 19 or any other pick. It makes sense for a 3 club trade for them to end up with the picks in the 20s and 30s and for WC and Freo to trade for their respective wants. WC want to advance in the order, Freo want to split their pick.

E.g.

WC: Starcevich, 12, something else
Freo, 16, 19
Brisbane: 22, 23, 33, 37, 44

In normal circumstance not great, considering you have to trade for rivers it’s essentially a free upgrade.

Fremantle in: 19, 23
Fremantle out: 12, 33

Definitely feels like West Coast will be giving more, but not yet disclosed... Possibly 37 on the low end and 22 on the high end.
