• Brandon Starcevich arrives at West Coast in a three team deal
• Tylar Young (Richmond) arrived at West Coast in exchange for Pick 38.
• Deven Robertson (Brisbane) has agreed to join West Coast and will be signed on to the rookie list after being delisted by Brisbane

Out:

• Oscar Allen joins Brisbane as a FA - West Coast receive Pick 2 as compensation
• Liam Ryan and a 2027 R3 pick has been traded to St Kilda for a 2026 R2 pick
• Campbell Chesser has been traded to Carlton for Pick 41
• Jayden Hunt announces retirement
• Jack Petruccelle, Callum Jamieson and Loch Rawlinson not offered new contracts
• Coen Livingstone joins the list of players not offered a new contract

Based purely on what Brisbane gave and got it sees Starc valued at pick 43….

Either something else is involved here or we're not getting band 1 for Oscar.

We have them over a barrel for an Annable bid but don't forget that Ah Chee also wants out.

Doesn't really make sense, they only get an additional 130 points for this, as opposed to the 653 they'd have got just for taking 23 on its own.

Maybe it is just the promise of no bids with 1 and 2.

That’s equivalent for pick 9. Looking at Blues pick, or rustle up some more points and we look at GC’s picks.

Still have picks in 50’s for Young and match Banfield.

Yeah, that's the only thing that makes sense. Saves them more than they'd have otherwise got but they'd still have more points with 19 + 23, so it's still a bit strange.

Gut feel, there has to be a future pick to us from Brisbane. If not, that is a huge amount of common sense prevailing and a pretty bloody good result for all involved.

Maybe we underestimated Clarke and he offered the Annabel discount and told Brisbane to think about how much points difference between matching at 1 compared to 3.
