Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Florent isn’t the same makeup as GH.

Ainsworth, if/when he stands up, all the better. Only serviceable but overpaid so far in his career for GC to hold onto VIC players.

Only pointing out that, If Florent is a VFL player because he was dropped to the VFL for a few weeks, then so are a heap of other players that no one would label as such.

People calling a 180 game AFL player with 4 top 10 B&F finishes a VFL player is really dumb

Tom Mitchell is a Brownlow Medallist. He is now a VFL player.

Florent has been a good player. He dropped off a lot this year. No-one now has him in the current best Swans team. He is now a depth AFL/VFL player on too long a contract and too much money.....in a lot of people's opinion.

So going off being picked for the Swans last 4 games, what makes you think he’s not in their best side?

So in your opinion, and quite a few others, he is still a good AFL player worthy of his current contract. That's fine.

In quite a few others opinions, he is not.

It's not a dumb opinion. His coach dropped him this year for a substantial period and his career is on a downward trend, not an upward trend. He is not the player he was obviously.

Think I've mentioned it a few times over the season. Charlie vs Sydney would be brilliant footage to show everyone again if we could watch an 'all-22' from behind the goals like the NFL offers. Charlie beat triple teams, lead like a mad man, chased, covered. Could've kicked 8-12 goals if his leads were either respected or hit. We just missed him time and time and again or bombed it so the literal 3rd man up could float in. It took 2 to hold him and a third. Whilst the rest of the forward line was literal witches hats. One of those holy **** this guy is the best player on the team by miles but they're too shit to get it to him games. There were about 5/6 leads he was 15 metres clear 30-50 out from goal and the 20-30m pass went over his head or dribbled to him.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was also the game he turned around and said **** this...
