Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.

Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

At this point I'd like to see us trade Steele for a pick that would ensure that we can grab Fincher if he gets a bid in the second round, and pull up stumps for the trade period.

With this as the plan for round one (and no more Misson pre season injury crises getting in the way)

LOL. I lived in Perth during the Malthouse years when the Weagles were the only team in town. There genuinely were anecdotes about Ashley McIntosh brushing his teeth in The West, amongst other riveting facts. Was utterly unbearable. Lived and worked there for 11 years. Never seen such a collective chip on the shoulder. Hate WCE with a passion. I'm sure you're a lovely fella - and I seriously hope your stinking cabbage of a football club never moves up the ladder. Off to take my meds now.

I still see him as our best option for a long term KPD.

I don't rate JSOS all that highly so im disappointed to miss Aleer.

Other clubs might talk about us on their discussion board, but the numpties down at norf take it to the next level. They've made a separate thread about us. A club, mind you, they haven't beaten since 2020, whilst getting 5000 top 10 draft picks and STILL being anchored to the bottom. A club that has done next to nothing so far.

If ever a club needed to be folded, it was them

Cats didn't stump up Sam DK for Marshall and siants say **** you we keep marshall and now can pay Leek?

An all time miss by the cats if they don't give up a bit too much for Marshall, their last swing next year with Danger and Cameron and not ofteh a player like Marshall is availabe and want to be at your club. Love this by the saints crew

Only reasons I can think of

Tauru and Leek were too similar anyway, back in our kid and let GWS develop theirs

I think we were tied before, but the Liam Ryan acquisition now gives us the most indigenous players in the league with Hill, Nas, Collard, Windhager, Henry, Keeler. 7 players

That program is clearly paying dividends and should be very good for us in the future for attracting such stars. Imagine if Kozzy got sick of the Dees...

It also leaves us with 4 Liams, nearly as many as we have Jack's iirc
