North supporters have been moaning all week they need to trade for a defender so probably would be interested in Leek. I wonder what they would be willing to trade for Dizzy after his finals performance.? It would have to be picks not players imo.

Imagine if he combined his athletic leap and ability with learnings from Harris - would be pretty handy. Probably well out of our salary cap capacity though.

From what I remember, we wanted him on the other side of the ground. With Allen and Draper coming in, and Gallop coming of age, I think we should be fine for forwards at the present.

Fort was also pretty good at dropping back this season. As with everything in his game, improved as the season progressed.

As did Berry. We just rolled a lot more people through there - Charlie even at times.

Three tall forwards, one ruck, and one on the bench. There will be games when one will be rested depending on the opposition.

Draper replaces Fort. Allen replaces Joe (second ruck/forward). Gallop and Linc will probably be fighting for a spot to replace Ah Chee up forward. Also, let's consider the extended bench and see how Fagan uses that to manage our forwards.

5 on the bench makes it easier to play an extra tall if that is the way we go.

3 KPFs- Allen, Morris, Gallop/Hipwood.
2 Rucks- Draper, Fort.

At least one of them would always be on the bench.

I just googled Witho and was surprised he is only 27 years old, feels like he has been around for ages, he's living in Sydney now and working as "State Strategy Development Manager at Johns Lyng Group NSW".

He played for Sydney Uni this season in the the Sydney Premier Division.

In perfect world Witho gets a 3yr contract with Tassie.
Plays Vfl next season then slowly starts influencing the glut of draft picks Tassie gets on coming to Brisbane

Henry Smith will play second ruck until Draper's fit n available.
5 man bench can help fit the second ruck in.

I can get behind recruiting Leek. But the reported price the Saints were willing to offer was mad.

Dunkley to Essendon was different because they just failed in the negotiations around value of picks and he was contracted.

I think we still with 3 KPF’s and one ruck regardless off the extra on the bench. We’ve got too many good mids/flankers to fit in and there are already good chunks of time where we only play two tall forwards throughout the game anyways. Taking in 5 talls wastes a bench spot imo

Brad Johnson is weird. He adds nothing to the telecast and provides pointless observations, but rarely does he bother me. His voice just drones on but I just ignore it and everything he says.

For the most part, he is just really likeable. I think that works for him despite not being a standout at his job.
