Geez, statistically he's almost as underwhelming as McEntee over an extended sample size of 5 years. Even allowing for games played as sub (or subbed out), he's no more than an 8 possession per game small forward who goes at less than a goal per game and not many tackles. Underwhelming to say the least.

Best way to replace McEntee is to trade for a younger version of him

I recall seeing him in a couple of games.

Poor man's Motlop, who people were saying was a Meh small forward, when rumours were he was looking at coming here (Daniel wanted him to come here).

Seems like a nice enough bloke, but probably an SANFL level journeyman, comparable with Anastasopoulos.

I may not have seen him at his best, but I'll need to be convinced he's AFL quality on what I've seen.

So people saying we needed another small defender and small forward. We've picked up Wehr and Durdin for those spots, so mission accomplished.

Would like to see us pick up Lemmey as a KPP option for nix as a DFA. Low risk.
Had injuries. Played VFL and started to show promise in the back half of the season.
Hard to break into a side with forwards in Curnow, McKay, plus DeKonning and Silvani having stints in attack.
200cm athletic tall. Decent kick and highly rated as a junior.
Need some options in attack if MG goes down injured, Luko doesn't materialise as a forward, Lord stagnates again, and Todd gets a career ending head knock.

Looks like we think this year's crop of draftees is absolutely rock bottom

Corey is only 23 but he definitely lacks class.
What carlton fans do like about him is his work rate and his pressure. As I said he is still young good luck to him hope he makes a fist of it with us

Pick 29 in this years draft for a 2026 2nd is pants down lap around the table type swindling.

You also couldn't pick up a player as good as Durdin at pick 67 in this years draft.

We absolutely won this trade - Carlton had a hard on for Ainsworth and GC needed the points so we win.
