It’s not a public holiday here in Melbourne on Monday (we had the pre GF day instead), so should be Monday.Maybe Tuesday morning due to Labour Day

The 27-year-old was delisted by the Giants despite being under contract for 2025, meaning he is now considered a delisted free agent after his deal expired. If he was from Essendon, or the like, I would agree with you. But second in line midfielders from clubs like the Giants and Suns are in a different bracket. Those clubs have had so many top picks, and have midfields stacked with talent. He would be a starter in most sides.
Also your use off the word "dumped" is factually incorrect, as he is a free agent, and chose Port as his destination. But go ahead, it fits your historical narrative.

Maybe you should work on your reading comprehension m8. He wasn't cut by GWS, he was delisted and re-rookied last year for list management purposes. Same thing happened to Dylan Moore a few years ago. Go tell Hawthorn fans that means Moore isn't wanted by them and see what reaction you get.The 27-year-old was delisted by the Giants despite being under contract for 2025, meaning he is now considered a delisted free agent after his deal expired.
You can play with words all you want, fact is he’s not required by GWS and will be playing for us next year.
Hopefully you’re happier with it being put that way.![]()

Says who? He's an unrestricted free agent, they didn't 'let' him come here, he chose to.And now he’s not required by GWS.
Exactly. And at zero trade cost is exactly what we need to be doing. People have been rightly bemoaning our depth all year, well this is the type of player we get to bolster that 15-25 part of our list.More than happy to go in with an open mind on these trades given the change in regime.
He either makes it with us or he doesn’t, no big loss if he doesn’t and huge win if he does
And now he’s not required by GWS.
He’s played 39 games since being drafted at pick 59 in 2020
And will be a starter in our team next year in the opinion of others.
Here in SA, we have a public holiday, so it's probably highly unlikely that staff will be at the club on a public holiday, he probably get officially unveiled on Tuesday morning. It’s not a public holiday here in Melbourne on Monday (we had the pre GF day instead), so should be Monday.
We literally support the team that saw Billy Frampton as surplus to our needs, and 2 clubs later he is an integral part of one of the better sides in the league. The history of the game is littered with cast offs that became valuable role players at other clubs some even turn out far better than that, it's ridiculous to put a line through players based on where they fit elsewhere.

Some clubs are stacked with players in certain positions and vice versa. Just because he's excess to their needs doesn't mean he's excess to ours.
It's all a bit moot anyway, you've made your feelings known and are just beating a dead horse now.
I have no belief in him winning a Chook raffle even if he had all the tickets. If you thought Hinkley was ever gonna win a flag especially by 2024 you were living in a world of candy rainbows & delusion.
It is hard to get too carried away with a 27 year old who has played just 39 games since being drafted at pick 59 in 2020 then rookie listed in 2024.
He’s a free hit basically always an attractive option especially at Port. One month on and I still haven't heard anything that makes me enthusiastic about this signing this guy. A 27 year old 185cm, 75kg, midfielder come defender. Did we sign him because we need him or because he was available?
Okay, I will give the guy a chance, welcome him to the Club and hope he blossoms at Alberton.

Geez you are shown to be wrong, yet still double down on your negative take. You must be a joy to live with! And now he’s not required by GWS.

Its not a public holiday in Victoria tomorrow, that's where the paperwork has to be lodged. We have a team in Victoria working on trades and watching the combine. I'm sure they can lodge the paperwork tomorrow. Here in SA, we have a public holiday, so it's probably highly unlikely that staff will be at the club on a public holiday, he probably get officially unveiled on Tuesday morning.
