Nobody is reading these forums. Makes the constant whining about the club even more pathetic.
The obsession with "winning" a trade by some is absurd. Lets see how it all pans out.
McVee could end up being one of our greatest trade-ins.
Also none of us are privy to any agreements/deals that are cut behind the scenes between clubs.

This time of the year I get all light headed and a fuzzy brain, that is because of all the draft numbers getting tossed about with trades.
It appeared to me (Fremantle) had a hand full of draft numbers(picks). The all of a sudden, we (Fremantle FC) have no numbers(draft picks).
Is McVee worth all those numbers!!!!!
Really, can someone please tell me, just how many numbers,(draft pick) do we now have.
What numbers are they.Will we have them at the trade end?

The trade makes sense. Hopefully McVee fulfils expectations.

Personally, I really rate the way Wallsy has helped WC to load up on picks in a draft that every other club is doing its best to get out of. I’m enjoying the thought of WC being unable to make enough list spots available for a superdraft in 2 years’ time because they can’t get rid of 3rd year contracted first rounders from this year.
He’s seen nothing he likes so is giving picks to our two biggest rivals to clog their list.

The issue with this analysis is that -> we aren't going to use the later picks. We will only have 3 main list spots to fill, and one will be a late NGA bid on Whan (who will use our latest pick) and one is filled by McVee, so we only really swapped 12 for 19 with McVee. The later points shuffle doesn't really affect us.
If we can find someone who needs points to match a bid, we'd do well to offload as many late picks as we can spare to upgrade a future pick (maybe some late picks to bump our future 3rd to a future 2nd)

We lost 6 players from our list, we've gained McVee ,so it brings it down to 5. Our total list number was 44, do we have to meet that total in 2026? You saying we only have 2 more spots to fill in the main list with picks 20 & 47? That would leave us still 3 short to max out at 44, so they would probably all be rookie selections? , using 69,90,108 etc which would hardly ever give much chance to get what you want. Maybe they may have eyes on some established players in the lesser leagues.
They say we were looking at Harry Boyd as a backup ruckman, I suppose you can get him for a bag of chips.

Walls is legitimately the best thing to happen to this club’s list makeup.
They go safe and reliable with those really high end picks and are pretty impressive at getting first round talent in seconds rounds and picking up a cracking, 150-200 gamer from deep in the drafts.
The issue is that final execution out there. I think they’re also developed to the peak of their ability too. They’re just patronised for too long when they hit that ceiling or just don’t have the passion or competitiveness out there.
