Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Im seeing alot of carlton supporters here that dont understand florent is a salary dump for Sydney and that if we are really interested in him which I'm hoping graham Wright and austin are smarter then that he should not be included in any curnow deal.
Their 2 firsts arnt the best but if that's all they have it would have to be those 2 firsts Hayward and either campbell/datolli
We r doing them a favour if we are stupid enough to have florent a part of the trade

Well just because we have overpaid more in the past, doesn't mean we should again. Especially with a club which wants him off the books.

This whole 'lifestyle' discussion doesn't really make sense. As a Sydney resident, I can confirm that it's a little bit bigger than Geelong, has 10 better beaches within a 20km radius but as a marquee player, the media will be all over him!

As I said, lifestyle reasoning is a load of garbage, oh, and don't forget he has a bride that will need to be in the spotlight!

Living in Bronte or Manly is a sh 1te load more appealing than anywhere in Melbourne

Yeah im laregly happy with it, considering its still in the negotiation phase. Not too happy with the 22 going back, but again the bones are there for a good deal, and certainly Austin, CD, GW, are much better equipped and know much more than I do. If they are happy i am happy

I could see a word where there is no Curnow deal and Sydney accept a future 3rd pick for Florent just to get him off their books, which would show how they really value him.

First Geelong have the audacity to offer us 2 early second rd picks and one late 2nd rd pick .
Sydney say we can Better that we’ll give you pick 11 ,F1 (16-20) Hayward and Florent for pick 22 and Curnow .

Other Clubs are treating us like fools and I hope we don’t play the Jester .

the petracca offer of 7 & 8 is worth 2986 points. we are miles off that at the moment - 11 is "worth" 1200

It will probably happen at a guess as is re 2025 R1, 2026 R1, Heyward and Florent. The pick 22 won't happen, it might be a shuffling of some picks somewhere or some other little changes to the deal but the 2 firsts, Heyward and Florent will be the core.

I wouldn't be accepting Florent as part of it, but have a feeling the club sees it differently (maybe as long as the Swans pay part of his salary)
