Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

I think its a better offer but worse relative to what they're worth.

2 1sts are similar. The 2 players offered to us are obviously far superior to Hustwaite. But Hawks are offering an additional F2 while Sydney want 22 back.

Plus, Curnow is 2 years younger then Merrett, and being a match winning KPF, more valuable then a mid.

Depends where the bid comes, but I'd say if Melb get 7 + 8 for Trac the bid comes in at 8.

So we'd need to get about 600 points from 3rd rounders, so would probably need 3 of them.

I reckon GC would flick us one back with Humphrey, then maybe Gov and Acres gets us a couple more.

Bottom line is, we don't say no to Humphrey if he wants to come.
