Did the price for Petracca push our asking price higher? It looks like we sought the additional first and in giving back second rounders lost our hand with Khamis.

You do that 10/10 times for the additional first, but I'd already emotionally invested in Buku...seems like a good dude.

I'd cut & pay out both Lij and 1 of Fog or Boyd to keep those 2 on the list. Both (especially Willie) exemplify what the club is asking from the players - team first, play for the logo, and leave it all out there.

Hypothetically... Say we take Ah Chee in the PSD and he doesn't kick up a huge stink about it... This forward line actually looks better than it did this year lmao.

KPD depth is still a massive issue for me. Need to pick up a Derksen or Blight type as a DFA imo, give Dean the opportunity to develop in the VFL and build up his body to compete with the AFL level KPFs.

Can't see us as a chance for Ah Chee, either due to list spaces (tight for us), plus salary cap. I reckon for Adelaide to get Ah Chee in the PSD, they're going to have to put a massive first year salary on Ah Chee, and still hope to navigate past clubs like North, Richmond, WC, etc... It'll be an interesting watch...

If we have the cap space for him take him. Then try and trade him for a first rounder next year to Adelaide

I actually think Fog is another heart and soul player, but with Hayward and Ainsworth coming in, Moir looking like he is ready to take the next step, and Kemp returning in the course of this year, some hard calls will need to be made. And I'd be interested in opinions of where Ison, Gresham and Clarke stand in relation to White and F.Young...

I hope we are more active with trading picks - using 9 on Dean would only be of benefit fi that managed toi convince the AFL not to go too hard on F/S and NGA in 2026, That may be a bit of stretch tho

Im not sure if we rate someine enough at the upper end of the draft to try to trade down, if not Id like to be trading 9 and 11 into points for this year and picks next year

Unfortunately on that basis and the commentary out of CFC, EH will make way. His manager is sprouting the right words and says he’s in ripping nick and ready to go (hopefully that’s with us, as EH is wishing as well).

Unnecessary move re-signing up Motlop.

Fogarty shouldn’t get a look in for ‘26.
Binns has much to work on with his disposal and physicality.

McGovern isn’t a KPP but a forward back up as a pseudo key post but he’d need to be contested and involved/running.

We def need some bigger bodies in reserve (potentially mainstays) in the KPP roles. CHB is a hole ATM.
We obv have the planned Buku role (was mentioned we saw him as a defender) to replace.

Edit: maybe Boyd is more danger, probably lesser dollars and not looking likely for senior opportunities after ‘25’s no show (for whatever reason that was..?)
