I reckon it's Jason Johannisen. Statistically he won't look like the worst but there was more daylight between him and the best players on the ground that day than any other Norm Smith I can recall.

Who is the least deserving Norm Smith medal winner?

Carlton fans - it was 30 years ago and all I can remember of the 1995 GF was Kouta with the ball for the first quarter or two, and Williams running amok once the game was long since over. Did Diesel play as well early on when the game was still live? Or was his BOG effort mostly on the back of performing late on?

Fairly ordinary thread given the poor guys been delisted in spite of wanting to play on. I could understand maybe if he’d asked for a trade, but as a Bulldogs supporter it’s a pretty shit way to send him off.

Edit The Slitherin’ Snake got there before me.

Kudos on having a good enough memory of Carlton's last flag

Thats really rough and disappointing to see the post come from a Dogs fan.

He was electric and on the day, at the ground my pick for Norm Smith. Watching the replay later, i would have given it to Boyd but you've greatly exaggerated the gulf between them
Never seen that poster once on the Bulldogs forums in my few years on here. But comes out and posts a drive by on JJ once he was delisted. Odd!

Kouta was BOG. When the game was there to be won in the first half Kouta was streets ahead of everyone. SOS was next best then Williams.

I thought Goddard was more deserving of the medal in 2010 V1 than Lenny Hayes was

I never liked Judd's Norm, but there probably was not a stand out that day.

Extremely unlikely that the voters were going to collectively land on Amon Buchanan or Nic Fosdike, who were my two choices.

In many ways Jason Gram has paved the way for more obscure or less famous players getting more of a chance of polling in Norm Smith voting.

Sheesh, what a classy thread to open on the day the guy is delisted. Must be a big fan.

They're not a Bulldogs supporter. This poster used to have GWS as their team supported. Clearly just a troll.

Only stat in his favour on GF day was metres gained and that stat is a little silly when you are running of half back and kicking it 50 metres into an opposition chest multiple times.

JJ was more important in the prelim a week prior IMO.

Boyd, JPK and even Picken were well ahead of him

I agree with some here that Dusty 2017 was lucky but the gap between him and Houli (or Edwards etc) was not as big as the gap between JJ and Boyd or JPK.
