Fantastic match, the atmosphere was great. Raya superb in the closing minutes however Sunderland found a way through and felt 2-2 was a fair result in the end. Xhaka and Rice was one of the great midfield battles I’ve seen in a long time, both of them were everywhere.

Sunderland are well and truly a handful and deserve their position in the table. From going ahead thanks to Trossard it sucks dropping 2 points late, however come seasons end perhaps Arsenal can look back on a point away at Sunderland as a good result overall.

My memory isn’t half as good as it used to be (and it was never that good in any event) but I can’t recall a season that felt over, so early in the season.

But I can’t see Arsenal not winning this season, and likely in a canter. 28 game victory tour.

Cue comments on long season, Man City will come good, Arsenal always second, etc etc
Comments could be that Arsenal's lead may be 4 or 5 points, with 27 league games to come.

Strong favourites for sure, but it's a bit early to actually call it.

The pessimist in me thought we would **** that up, but a nice and easy win in the end. Wolves didn't threaten at all. As I said in the management thread, a change won't help their fortunes much, their squad is atrocious. West Ham, however, are starting to click under Nuno.

And hats off to Sunderland. Given how dire the promoted teams were in the last two seasons, it's great to see a well-drilled and led one earning their place. Xhaka is easily the signing of the season so far with both his performance and leadership.
