The Liverpool/City game will be more exciting than Sunderland/Arsenal. 41 goals (for + against) in 20 games between those two teams and I heard a lot have been from set pieces. ;)
Had to give the leaders their due + Sunderland are a breath of fresh air.

I think if it's an exciting game this morning we'll lose so hope the Reds continue with this uncharacteristic clamping down strategy hehe.

Called it early in the thread that this week we would drop points, Sunderland are a different beast this season and are good at home.

See what happens when we concentrate on open play goals? Sure we scored 2 but we didn't keep a clean sheet. Disgracia.
Arteta out.
Stick to what you know. Arteta should go back to the formula after the break.

Once that was going to VAR, there was no chance of that not being a penalty to City.

And you sense with that save from the Liverpool goalie, its a lift for the Reds.

It won't go down as one of the goals of the season but the move started at the defensive corner flag. 20 passes later and Haaland nods it into the goal.

That offside goal for Liverpool was a piece of poor positioning from Robertson. It was going to be a goal without him needing to be there.

I hate agreeing with Gary Neville but I think it should have stood as a goal. Robbo was in an offside position but he wasn't in Donnarumma's eyeline and he didn't try to play the ball.

How did Cody Gapko miss that from 4 yards out ?

Liverpool should have had one there.

Its been a game of almost for Liverpool tonight. But at least they are pushing.
