Agree. Piastri should have gone to lap 50 as his pace was OK on the mediums.

Who went the longest on the mediums?

Lawson maybe?

I'm not sure they could have gone Medium to Soft, the alternate move would have been to go for the hards, and then make yourself difficult to overtake (although overtaking was pretty easy today).

Piastri’s mistake was touching the brake pedal at Turn 1

Because according to the rules he could’ve gone flying into Turn 1 smashed into Antonelli’s sidepod and they’d have called it a racing incident
