Greeves has weaknesses to his game. He’s not very quick, and his defensive application is lacking. Despite his frame, he’ll also need to build up core strength to play in the guts because he’s more a receiver than an inside brute.
But I feel that sometimes prospects have their strengths overlooked.
Greeves has good disposal for his size both by hand and foot. He’s strong when resting forward, able to take marks and hit the scoreboard. Having 35 disposals and kicking four goals in a Prelim shows he’s capable of massive performances.
If he can work hard to improve his weaknesses, he’ll be AFL quality. More than happy to take the punt as a rookie.
