On the balance of that match a draw is probably a fair result. Best compliment I can give Chelsea is that you didn’t really notice them down to 10 men, they caused problems even with a man down. James and Sanchez very very good games this morning.

A bit reminiscent of Arsenal a few seasons ago with ill discipline impeding the results, and too many games with red cards. The behaviour of Caicedo after his disgraceful challenge was pathetic.

First time Mosquera and Hincapie have partnered each other as centre halves, I don’t think Arsenal concede that goal with Gabriel or Saliba on the pitch. Saka crafted his run into the box beautifully and the cross to Merino was on point.

1-1 was a fair result however that late cross from Hincapie seemed for Gyokeres haha, I don’t think Timber was aware of him. What could have been however a draw overall away is fine for Arsenal, I believe unbeaten away at Chelsea since 2018.

Caicedo flopping about after going to get up is absolutely pathetic. Ridiculous.

That save from Sanchez was huge late on. I don't think Gyokeres should have been given a yellow. And I also think if Gyokeres gets his head to that instead of Timber it's a goal.

Yes I read similar, perhaps largely due to the first time in 162 matches that Arsenal have had neither Gabriel or Saliba on the pitch. Arsenal were well off it today and full credit to Chelsea for causing the problems they did.

They’d rightly be furious with Caicedo though. 11 vs 11, Arsenal were there for the taking and without his moment of madness, who knows perhaps they come away with the win. His conduct was laughable. Embarrassing rewatching that.
