Red card by how it’s normally adjudicated. My post is more like how I want it to be adjudicated.

What Caicedo did is classed as serious foul play. It's a red card offence because that sort of challenge endangers the safety of an opponent. Studs up with force on an ankle can break bones or cause ligament damage.

Considering Enzo was also trying to rile up Raya, and Cucu was getting into it with White last year, I think its just the teams don't like each other.

That said its pretty funny since Cucu is the least intimidating player in the league due to his hair.

Nah, is just a big Derby between two rivals and one guy came from the other team. All smiles and hugs after the whistle.

It’s odd to retrospectively call for a change of how long established rules are adjudicated just because your player has fallen on the wrong side of them. I don’t believe there can be any sense of justification for that tackle, it was potentially an ankle breaker. And for all the tough talking the governing bodies do around “simulation”, perhaps they should add to his suspension for his conduct in the aftermath.

Obviously in an ideal world, he’s setting up more but there’s more to the game than that. He helps create more opportunities for Timber to get forward etc without having to score.

It's a rage bait stat. Not suggesting that chef is posting it for that reason... but if you look into it he missed 31 games (not all in the PL but the majority would've been) through injury between those assists, as well as the off season.

Outlets run with it because it gets clicks.

Saka hasn't lit the world on fire since his return from injury but teams are still worried about him, the Arsenal equaliser happens because Chalobah has to drop off Merino to help Cuca who got a yellow against Saka earlier in the match.
I'm not convinced they had to double team him but they did and it left Merino wide open for an easy (for him) finish.

And it was a perfect ball from Saka.

I think we see him at his peak in the last third of the season and if the title race stays as tight as it currently is then thats when we will need him.

Just noticed this last night but the ref for Spurs v Newcastle is the same ref as the fixture in October for the Carabao Cup , Chris Kavanagh.
