Have we found this years Chugg/ Briskey/ Draper/ Eyre/ McInnes yet? I’ve got an early front runner, but I’m curious what the consensus is so far.
From the new recruits?
I've got 2.

1. Saxena Been talked up a little on Jens videos. Looked great in a couple of plays with nice movement. Physically he looks the second least likely to play this year in front of only McCarthy. Might be the Collingwood boards front runner.
2. Angus physically looks the most likely. He has a great draft story, has had probably the most media attention and is a real journey man. If he doesn't get a game early he could quickly become a whipping boy.

Those names have the stench of Hine. It's a new recruiting era, happy to give O"bree a chance.

My bro saw Anderson live in the SANFL grand final and I'd be taking him off that list.

Are you talking him up? If so you are adding him to the list.

edit: BTW I am just talking about players hyped up during the preseason. I guess most of the players on Scos list also failed to have AFL careers. I am not saying they won't have careers.

Yeah, I'm bullish on Angus. I think he'll be the most impactful one early on. I like them all this year. Saxena has a bit of development body wise but once you add some size to his body he's going to be good. I prefer this crop to some of Hines head scratching choices.

I don't think anyone expects Jai to get games next year although maybe towards the end if he's performing well who knows.
Same goes for Zac.

McCarthy for me - he's really raw and had injuries last year, he's got a lot of development in-front of him. He's also got the highest up-side too, so at P55, if he plays a game, we're in front

I'd put Prindable and AA as our most likely to succeed, Prindable for his composure and AA because we have a great recent track record recruiting mature age draftees - that said, the bar for success must be set pretty low for a P57 - if he plays 10 games over the next 2 years I'd say he's been a success.

Seriously?
There are many players in a similar boat.
Prindles learning from Pendles will be a thing of beauty.
PS: At least let him play a game before you pot him too much.
It's amazing how many posts I see talking about HDM and only kicking on his left foot. I see plenty of right footers doing the same, but it's only HDM that comes up. I'm wondering if these people are only noticing because he's a lefty?

I think it’s the constant no-look blind kicks on his left that make it stand out.
