One thing for it to have happened, quite another for him to try and cover it up, quite another again for him to alter an Uber receipt and then another thing to try and get it all surpressed.

Yea but is it unique to footy? Or is reflective of the rest of society. I’d argue within footy the attitude towards this kind of stuff has changed albeit not enough with stupid crap like MadMondat etc. but with women’s footy, etc I do think it’s changing in line with wider society.

Not as much these days, but I don't think it's much of a stretch to think young men with celebrity status and a stack of cash might behave a little bit differently than the rest of their cohort

I think letting your child face the consequences of their actions is admirable. Though I also dont begrudge any parent trying to stop their kid going to jail. Its completely understandable.

Have no issue with the family standing by Tom. I personally hope SOS and JSOS dont cop it (even though they definately will). Tom on the otherhand hopefully gets whats coming to him.

This is an absolute certainty. No doubt in my mind it will happen.

Dunno about the lack of evidence part. My daughter had an armed home invasion and was r*ped at gun point the cops know he did it but not enough evidence to be sure They got a guilty verdict. I asked if it would be released to the media and the officer said they didn't want to put fear in the community. I'm told it wasn't his first rodeo. I'm a patient man and one day when my health is failing me, justice will be served. At the moment she needs me more than Utu being handed out.
