Another example of the AFL not applying their own rules. Creates the perception of bias. It's not as if there isn't a clear example of them getting exposed for doing exactly this in the recent past. Quite simply they can no longer be trusted to administer the game with integrity.

Technically if the AFL was serious, they should hand the points to Hawthorn.

AFL had no idea what he was doing during the game - coulda been planning the biggest “throw” since Carlton and Melbourne’s tanking seasons.

If they’re serious about controlling phone use and protecting the integrity of the game, they have no choice.

But they won’t, because they manage by hindsight
