There might have been an argument that this could have been a case of his word against hers, with no clear evidence. But when he faked the uber receipt, that was the admission of guilt. He would not have tried to cover up the crime if he was innocent.

Not going to be a suspended sentence. He is in custody now and judge said a prison sentence is inevitable.

A lot of these high profile cases have been getting turned over on appeal. Clearly they are going to appeal so makes sense that they would continue to claim he is innocent.

After 12 people have deliberated and came All to the same conclusion. I am very surprised he would make that statement to the media. Play a straight bat and if you think he is innocent let it play out without further comment. Jury trails very difficult to appeal.

Can understand the Silvagni family backing their son, but not sure it was wise to come out and make that statement. Better off just saying the matter is still being dealt with in the courts, and they won't be commenting at this time.
