Going full WC wowser and just making up quotes now.Oh Please, don't be that guy. Brissy and fages made Geelong look second rate. Probably get 2026 to.

He just has a more talented list.Third rate at best. Fagan showed everyone who really is the master coach.

Which was a major factor in finishing the season 1-6 against decent teams.Sorry mate but they've already been doing it this year and before. Crisp played wing/HB most of the year. Sidey wing and tagger with occasional pops forward and Pendles only attends CB's on occasions and will be playing off HB this year
.. wait to you see BullerHappened to the Brissy Lions happened to Hawthorn and both supporter groups probably were saying similar.
Geelong have been lucky with the inclusions of superstars along the rebuild.

They'll tell you Danger fell off the cliff, having demolished a pretty tough Hawthorn list the week before. He just has a more talented list.
Just not good enough, like this year.nah if we make finals with young mids, we'll be too young!! the joys of being Collingwood supporters
Probably need to correct you here. Collingwood havent had a dynasty team since the late 1920's-early30's. They are about to raise the bat on that. But the dynasty is over, long over, at the moment it's propped up by the 2nd best player in the game and his semi-squib genius of a brother.
Sorry, while that would have been a wonderful time to be a Collingwood fan (I'm sure), it is as relevant as our VFA dynasty in the highest standard we were permitted to play; 1903, 1904, 1910, 1914, 1915, 1918.Probably need to correct you here. Thanks, Chippy.Hey my man Fadge
Ok, I'm on board lol
You could (if everything goes well and you rest your older players for away games) and they are fit and able come September. You might. You are the 2nd best-resourced and best coached team in the league. I'll happily concede that much, AND if JDG has a career year etc - it could happen.
.. wait to you see Buller![]()
So just like Mihocek?Seen him he’s ok at best.
Nah Mihocek was a good get and became the Pies genral in the forward line, Buller is unproven and you're hoping he's just like Mihocek, might happen might not.So just like Mihocek?
Buller is actually more proven than Mihocek was when he started at Collingwood, at about the same age.Nah Mihocek was a good get and became the Pies genral in the forward line, Buller is unproven and you're hoping he's just like Mihocek, might happen might not.

Yeah but can he become what Mihocek became? As i said he might and he might not and with Elliott getting on the Pies would be hoping that Buller does become another Mihocek.Buller is actually more proven than Mihocek was when he started at Collingwood, at about the same age.
LOLOLOL.Not really Miochek was playing brilliant footy at Port.
LOLOLOL.
As a backman at VFL level?
Nawww, Apologies DG, replying to the wrong guy (puts the wine away).Going full WC wowser and just making up quotes now.
The answer is yes. Its a fair question, but its not as definite as "Collingwood is going over a cliff".Yeah but can he become what Mihocek became? As i said he might and he might not and with Elliott getting on the Pies would be hoping that Buller does become another Mihocek.
We were in premiership contention in 2025. There's a good chance that with a good run of injuries were are close again in 2026.Sorry, while that would have been a wonderful time to be a Collingwood fan (I'm sure), it is as relevant as our VFA dynasty in the highest standard we were permitted to play; 1903, 1904, 1910, 1914, 1915, 1918.
And we're minnows with no fans and no money.
In the big leagues it's 3 v 2. 4v4 in the last 50! Slightly more relevant, I'd say. And as great as they were a few years back, I'd happily wage them whatever they want on which of our teams genuinely contend next.
I'm not saying they won't make WW, as I'm sure they're more than capable of finishing 10th, but they aren't in Premiership contention. Any non-Woodsman can tell them that much. Again, who cares, they won a few years back.
They'll likely be back up sooner than Richmond as they're rebuilding with a couple of Daicos' who are #2 & Top 20 (and >24) in the entire league, a fair head start, let's be real.
Collingwood did a rebuild under Buckley from 2014-2017 and showed it can be done without finishing in the bottom 4. If they rebuild under McRae it'll be similar eg finishing mid table and not bottoming out. What's a rebuild?
Is that what teams who can't build and maintain a competitive playing list do to sell hope to their members?
