Was more to do with sending the no 10 out at 3, in a dead rubber, still with 140 odd runs needed, after being rolled for 110 in the first innings, after Bazball has been found out again and again this series and being humiliated all series.Winning.
I shit you not, coaches are coached to teach young players that getting your foot to the pitch of the ball isn’t important anymore. As long as there a weight transfer to the front foot and your head is over or close the ball at the point of impact that’s ok. All good golf they’re batting on a highway but any sort of movement and you’re struggling. I think it stemmed from the way KP battedCrazy how bad footwork is on batsman these days.. head moves his feet he doesn’t get bowled, Carey moves his feet and he covers the ball … and doesn’t glide it to slips for practice

I didn't mind sending him out for a slog TBH.Was more to do with sending the no 10 out at 3, in a dead rubber, still with 140 odd runs needed, after being rolled for 110 in the first innings, after Bazball has been found out again and again this series and being humiliated all series.
And what did it achieve? Nothing
Rightly or wrongly I'm happy that the bowling hasn't been able to paper over the cracks this time. Might be the wake up call they need to make some changes to the boys club that this test side has become.
No one in the top order should be safe apart from Head and Carey. All other batters have failed this series.
220 would have been enough… but when you throw wickets away with reckless abandon knowing you aren’t going to be dropped because of being a “generational talent”Another 60 runs. That's all it would've taken.
He was our worst bowler. Glad he got a couple but really didnt look very threatening and the overstepping no balls were annoying. Why didn't Smith bowl Jhye before now this session?

Or you are still getting a game after averaging 29 the last three years batting at first drop then you get what you get.
Battings been poor this series but I reckon it'd be real unfair to judge any bats based on this shit tip
