They are already being circumvented. The money from the oil being taken from the tankers the US navy seizes are going into a Qatar account that Trump says he is using for the benefit of Venezuela. I would not trust Trump with a kids piggy bank, how much of that money will vanish in service fees to companies connected to his son in law.

Congress will spinelessly allow him to steal whatever he wants, as long as he does not steal from their personal accounts or from their billionaire backers.

Nah, congress does whatever they need to do to get themselves re-elected. In other words, carrying out the will of the people who elected them.

Given that Trump can get away with the proverbial shooting someone on fifth avenue - then opposing him or putting checks on his power doesn’t seem to be what their voters generally want.

We saw divergence with Epstein. Trump wanted it buried. There was public outrage about it (amongst right wing voters). The congress defied Trump and went with the people.

Yes you could argue that this racial exclusion has been in the US the whole time, but my point is that when a child tells another child "Trump is going to get you,” that's an appeal to state violence not just social exclusion.

When was the last time American kids used a president as an appeal to authority to excludes other kids? Woodrow Wilson in WW1 and Germans? Roosevelt in WW2 and Japanese Americans? Bush after 9/11?

Three difference here is that there was no major violent event that caused racial division at this level. This was purely manufactured through ideology and the cult like like conditions.
