How so? You mean by doing nothing, and hoping Judd falls through to the PSD. IMO Tiges missed a huge opportunity. If Miller and Terry had been able to convince Judd to nominate Richmond, they would have got Judd easily during the trade period for pick #2 plus a second round pick. We are talking about the best player in the AFL here.

No by doing everything possible negotiations wise to get you to give up the TANK pick1. If you don't, then well done, we can move on and get the best kids with our picks and look to other players in the PSD. We haven't got the pressure of the whole media, and now supporters, expecting us to sign him, unlike Tankton.

If Carlton tanked, yet finished higher than you, just how much better a side would they have been if they didnt tank? Add Judd....just how big would the gap be then? Scary to think about really.

Because you have pick 1...and he is confident you are going to give it up to the Eagles for him. He wants to do the right thing by them. You know it will be given. So hopefully Tankton's dishonesty doesn't inhibit rationality.

Why would Judd choose Richmond, you are a big club, with a lot of monetary backing yet lack the ability to have finals success.
Yes Carlton has struggled in the last 5 years but so has Richmond, and the truth is Richmond have since the early 1980's.
So don't start calling our club a rabble until you get yours sorted out.
Greg Miller will be great for your club and so should Terry Walace. Lets hope all four of the big Victorian clubs are competitive in the coming years.

You keep calling us a "rabble" and yet even though you say we tanked several games, the fact is we still finished above the Tiges who finished last, We also managed to turn the Clubs finances around in less than 12 months, have record memberships and have lured the best AFL player after he rated our list as the most promising in the AFL. Can you see the problem with your "assessment"?

If we didn't have injuries we would have finished with about 10 wins like we did in 2005 and 2006. But these injuries have given our kids great experience and we'll be a better team than we were in 2006. You guys have not moved off the bottom in 4 years and you have been playing youth most of that time. Our list is better than yours and 2007 was a learning year for the kids. I'm 100% confident we'll do better than the Blues next year. Wait until Nisbett and Worsefold show up to the meetings tomorrow. They were not even there today and Carlton has stated that WC will not deal with anyone else. I'm sure we'll be offering our number 2 pick and Carlton wil be shitting their pants again. As for your membership, I'm sure if you replaced your 1882, 87 and 95 premierships for 9th placed finishes(or 6th placed finish, missing out of the top 5) I know for sure you would have never reached 30,000 members

Look Juddy's an environmentalist and he sees a ****ing huge cesspool of blue green algae at Carlton and he believes that he can clean that scum up. Alas even some jobs are too much for one man with an environmental bent , and he will realise this when his career is analysed and his time as Carltank will be deemed the wasted years.
