Ben Hart daid on radio that Crows are doing their usual spying on Port this pre season.
So if you see a dude or two in sunglasses....
Anyway...I am considering attending.

My main question would have been:

We were held goalless in 7 quarters during the year, including against bottom teams like Carlton and Freo. We lost 4 of these games by under 10 points. Have we earmarked why this loss of focus occurs by the playing and coaching group and what steps have we taken to ensure it doesnt happen again

I really hope you do go OGC despite the negativity and between the marketing, guff and spin there was actually some interesting info last year and I enjoyed large parts if it. (Feel free to come up and have a chat- I will be the guy in the Port shirt.)

For me also despite concerns about choices we have made as a club we do events/presentations such as this in the main very well.

I will also appreciate the opportunity to be in the same space with people that although at different levels of happiness and frustration with the club want the same thing as I do ( and sort of hoping there is an undertone and restless vibe in the room that is recognised and acknowledged)

I think Freo had a spy checking out training the other year too.

My main question to the coaches would be along the same lines.

In 2013 and 2014, the coach talked about the importance of momentum swings. Stopping the opponent from scoring heavily when they have the momentum and scoring heavily when we have it.

We just seem to have totally abandoned this philosophy. We do a little bit of the former because we stack the defence but we didn't bury a team when we had the chance once last year.

I didn't go last year and have no attention of attending this year, but I agree with Portwon in his suggestion, and hope that there is a vibe of restlessness and unhappiness ( abuse aside of course ) in the room, and further to that I believe that vibe needs to be picked up and acknowledged by the powers that be.

The last thing disgruntled supporters need ( and if this site is anything to go by there are a lot of us ) is another pussy kissing PR exercise that results in SFA action.

KT spruiking this event hard in his latest CEO's email. Numbers must be horrible.

"It’s inner sanctum stuff."

nuff said.

BTW, when I got the call asking if I was going, I immediately cut the call short by saying I wasn't going because I wouldn't be here. The guy on the other end said, "where are you going". I told him I'd be in Sydney. He then said, "what are you doing in Sydney?", "Work", I replied. "What do you do for work?"...

His tone and the speed of his replies gave me no doubt he was trying to catch me out in a lie.

What a way to sales.

Or numbers are about same as 2018, maybe be more, but when you increase capacity by 2.5, times they look crappy.

Yes, yes but are you really going to Sydney for work?

Well that's what I tell Mrs Boober so I'm sticking with that story, no matter what.

Glad I'm not a member this year.

I'm going to buy a last minute ticket. Really shouldn't waste the time, I have zero enthusiasm about listening to a failing coach and team that's set for a terrible year and just pushed out some terrific talent.

I just hope I don't walk out like I did last year, knowing 100% how we were going to play, and knowing 100% that it'd fail.

If they offer some type of therapy for supporters who have sat through the same dross year after year than I will definitely be going !
