Yeah the AFL will anyway but Cockarfitt's point still remains. We are competing with very finite dollars in a crazily competitive industry and their digital fan engagement is so substandard it is not funny. So of the best stuff coming out of the club media wise in the last few years has been from the players which is a bad sign. In an AFL landscape where the club is constantly fighting for memberships and marketing/media dollars it is very poor service delivery in my opinion.

People who dont believe this only need to go look at other Clubs online output....

I don't disagree with much you have to say but Guthrie should be on the same side of the fence as me,he hates the sight of blood especially his own,doesn't go hard enough,Prefer to look at others.

If that is the case that is horrendous.
I went bw Xmas and NY and looked as I was updating the Cat Scan page here and needed to double check something..
I could understand things not being done before Jan 1 with the new year and all (im trying to be ultra understanding here) but to have it not done by now is just contemptuous at best and ****ing lazy at worst.

And whilst AFLW is not for everyone, they can at least display the info for those that want it. Thats entirely shithouse.

Tried to do same.

Actually Dan Menzel was still there as a current player only a few weeks ago.

On the eve of their Inaugural and history making entry into the women’s competition, this is the Current status of the women’s player list. How disrespectful.
Whoever / if anyone for that matter, is in charge of our website, should be shown the door immediately. That is pathetic!!!!

It's no wonder Mitch Broughton and Kerzner left. They actually tried to implement ideas but were met with opposition.
I happened to play against Broughton last year in local footy and discussed our ineptitude with him post game. Funny thing was, that he was North supporter but still had a great passion for the Cats. Shame the powers above couldn't see through their cheque books.

Also, the men's profiles are up to date (no Menzel), with photos of some of the new boys missing.
Also heaps of news and articles on training and the upcoming AFLW game.

GWS really needs to appreciate it's members though.
We used to have the same attitude through most of the noughties.

Perhaps it’s just luck.. but maybe they do read this at times..

Imo they’d be foolish not too... easy way to get a vibe of the fan base and not have to pay a market research firm for it

They’ve probably got onto it. Somebody told me in the hoops bar two years ago that the club has people monitoring big footy for complaints. No idea how true but wouldn’t surprise me. At a previous coy I set up the social media data feed into our marketing application so we would get people’s thoughts. Wouldn’t be hard to join for someone.

I've got no time for instagram. And now the GFC website. You open up the page and you're greeted with more about AFLW than you are the real competition.

It should be kept seperate under an AFLW link.
