Good stuff Travtoday on Perth radio 882 6PR i was on the lunchtime show chatting about the Nicky Winmar statue for optus stadium and our push to try and get it unveiled for our round 3 match against the Dockers in Perth ... with only 50 odd days til that came its a bit of a long shot but the main item that i was really trying to push across was the need for the unveiling of this monument to Nicky to be inclusive of the St Kilda footy club and our WA supporters ...

Riewoldt for example was forever listed at 193 but is more like 195/6 when you see him standing next to 196cm Bruce. Membrey as well is 188 listed but I reckon he is more like 190.

The club visited 12 schools on February 4-5, engaging approximately 1200 students. They also held clinics at Somerville, Dromana, Rye and Red Hill junior football clubs.

While the players did have to do some training, including a gruelling beach tackling session, the open training session at Rosebud Football Club on Tuesday morning, while the players were also a hit at local aged care centres.
“It’s very valuable because as footballers we can be a role model for those in the community and it’s good to get out and show them you are a genuine person,” new draftee Nick Hind said.
