Just me, isn't it?

Haven't seen any real nitpicking as it were from anyone else. Plenty sharing their impressions, all of which have looked reasonable.

Oh, and Moody popped up at some point, but I just skimmed past that.

Not you. I don’t agree with your Murphy post but imo your posting is good and considered

All good. Just not sure where the calling out of nitpicking or whinging has come from - I haven't noticed any, unless I skipped past some at some point in my catch-up reading. Most of the discussion around our game was very positive.

I assume snowflake is a bad thing?

Pretty bad, Soap. A short step up from Hird-ites.

They're easy to spot though. They join internet forums, completely miread the atmosphere, assume everyone else is a bored teenager, post shit, then resort to posting images from the "Memes" folder on their school laptop (the one with a subfolder called "Definitely not pr0n, stay out mum").

Easy there, all points were valid and nobody is exempt from criticism. Not even Walsh.

Setterfield very very good.
Liked what I saw last night.

I just like players that are clean with their hands and seem to have time. Can’t be taught. On top of that he is big, quick, works hard and is a very good mark.

Almost the most complete player I have seen at 18-19 years old. Now just needs experience

Just googled it [emoji15]

Wow. I’m 63, 25 years in Army, 15 special forces and 2 tours overseas and still very fit. I’d be interested to see if you’d say it to my face [emoji6]
message to self........up the soap likes.........

Last year both Hawthorn and the saints kicked poorly against us in our wins. We also lost the inside 50 count against them inparticularly quite heavily against the Hawks.

Last night was a domination possession wise. verly early days but couldn't have been happier from where I was sitting!!
Cool user name ..

One of the biggest positives of the night was that we were still able to win without relying on the elder statesmen. The young guys took on the responsibilities under the leadership of Crippa and got the job done....hopefully a sign of things to come in the future.

While we still have Murph and Simmo and Daisy still on the field though, it's so important for the young guys to feed off their guidance and experience, because we still have a hole in the 24 to 28 (or 29) age bracket. Even Eddie C and Kruez turns 30 this year.

Murph will still be valuable without being dominant, Simmo still the general on the backline in the absence of Doc, and Daisy finally fully fit and playing some of the best footy of his career.

I don't rate him at all. Like how he takes the game on but it rarely leads to something. Be hard up the ground to judge what is coming. Overall I think their recruiting has been average.

Smith is a beauty and Shiel they paid a lot but Saad, Stringer and McGrath for a Pick One are massively overrated. Francis has talent. Laverde & Langford have been average. IMO too many "ifs" to be a good side
And Walshy shooda gotta free against Saad too.. if that wasn't incorrect disposal I'm Easter bunny..
