Dead set, after having a look at footage from various angles, the idea that the blonde prick might NOT face charges over that is outrageous. Why should we have to put up with dregs like that who can't handle their booze or emotions (or both) posing a physical risk to us at the footy? We know all too well how easily a single punch can cause permanent damage and this moron was throwing them around like he was under siege. Anyone excusing this as "Aw, you've never been drunk and gotten in a fight?" needs to check their own alcohol consumption and emotional stability. There's no excuse for shit like this.

Every time there’s a long weekend there’s discussion in Victoria about whether we have ‘double demerits’ or not in many workplaces...

I’ve had the discussion about half a dozen times in the past 2 & a half years.

Considering you were comparing the fine the guy received last night to a speeding fine on a double demerit weekend and calling it ‘laughable’ — I thought it would be wise to bring up that double demerits don’t exist in Victoria, because it sounded like you were one of those people that didn’t know.

How would I know that you were trying to compare something that happens in another state to something that happens at the MCG. Law enforcement is a state based issue, therefore what happens in another state is not relevant to this discussion.


Your ability to drive like a ****wit & he unable to stay within the speed limit is about as relevant to this discussion as it being illegal to drink alcohol in some middle eastern countries.

speaking of facts,I witnessed the entire episode in the afl members.I don't condone any of it but..from the ist quarter the guy in the white tshirt was hassling the Richmond guy for 3 quarters,I wont say he deserved to get a beating but gee he didn't help his own cause.Unfortunately Richmond guy didn't walk away and leave it at that,but what I did learn is 1 never mouth off at someone if you cant handle when things escalate and 2 never ever under estimate your opponent..for a skinny 19 yr old gees he knew how to fight...but a braver man would walk away.I felt so sad to witness the kids crying who had witnessed this all..
