Winning the premiership last year really takes the stress off. I find us getting pumped and Freo winning convincingly as more amusing than frustrating.

We lost round 1 last year, and didn’t hit our straps for a few weeks after that either.

Yeah we lost rd 1 last year but bounced back and had a really good away win v doggies. Never looked like losing.

We need a similar, confidence building, season starting, win.

I don't understand why Brad Scott never seems to be under any pressure, keeping-his-job-wise. People say "oh he took us/them to a prelim and he hasn't had the best list and he did better last year than many experts thought he would".

1. I don't think the experts were right about anyone last year.
2(a). He's been there for nine years now. Surely it's time to try someone else.
2(b). A prelim? He's third on the 'most games without a grand final' list. How is 'he got us to a prelim a few years ago' good enough?
3. His win loss ratio is 103-98. You might as well make all your strategic decisions with a coin toss.

I know he's entertaining to watch when they're losing, which again is roughly 50% of the time, but surely North Melbourne would prefer to watch their team win.
