Winning the premiership last year really takes the stress off. I find us getting pumped and Freo winning convincingly as more amusing than frustrating.
I'll be pissed if we lose the derby though.
We lost round 1 last year, and didn’t hit our straps for a few weeks after that either.
Chris Scott, the luckiest coach to win a flag, hell that Geelong side didnt need a coach to win the flag in 2011.Chris Scott gifted a great team.
Brad Scott continually keeps his job.

And it's against Noarf, which always helps.
..... And they've now locked the game day thread on their board.
North supporters are so thin skinned it's hilarious. What a gift to bigfooty, never change.

Yeah we lost rd 1 last year but bounced back and had a really good away win v doggies. Never looked like losing.
We need a similar, confidence building, season starting, win.

At 3 times the price on a long term contract.
Ah yes, the second half collapse caused a Gameday thread meltdown like I hadn't seen for years.Round 3 we barely got over the line vs Geelong, there were people calling for Simpson to be sacked on Monday.
Nah, Lobb's ok but he's not great.Lobb is 3 times the player
The main problem was his preferred position-specifically foward ruck
He wasn’t interested being a centre ruck
“I just see myself being more effective as a forward. I felt like when I was in the ruck, you are wrestling in there, in stoppages the whole time. I sort of lose that bit of running and flying for my marks so I feel like as a forward I can sort of do that more.”

Think mite miss Lycet more than expected
Not just as a ruck but as a good bloke clubman, lifting the morale of the team
Need nicnat back ASAP
Shame we don’t have a #11 to raise their hand & banish our midfield issues to another dimension.Well. It's official. Round 1 took place in the upside down.
Nah, Lobb's ok but he's not great.
Willing to give Hickey the benefit of the doubt and see how he goes next week, the conditions on the ground seemed oppressive.
