Very likely someone else. There's various club people mingling with the journos on press conference days.So Marc McGowan said he missed a game because of defensive efforts last week but then when McGowan actually asked Scotts in public Scotts said he wasn't going into the reasons. Does this mean McGowan just made it up last week? That someone else told him that and it wasn't the real reason? If McGowan heard it from the club I imagine if it was accurate and the clubs position Scott would have acknowledged it had already been discussed.

Can hit a target by hand a foot. We already have that spot taken. Only room for one under Brad.So what did he do to Brad? Not part of the boys club? Lol
He made the admission in the context of Ahern not being picked
In the context of what happened last week, this is just ******* ... I don't even know.
We can only guess, i.e. defensive running, tackling and contested efforts. That's gripping stuff.
So, last we heard it was defensive application, still a work in progress Brad ?
I think he is too skillful for the game plan. He is a conundrum for Scott.
So in a game where the team had 20 odd tackles Scott made an example of the player that kicked 3 goals. At the meet and greet last year between player BF sponsors, LDU and Paul - he was asked what he needs to work on most. He said tackling. Might mean something. Might not.
You’d think once he comes back in though, he’ll stay in.
Flabbergasted.
I’ll name you 15 other blokes with greater deficiencies then Ahern.
Well we got rid of him didn't we.....
No doubt Ahern is stiff not to be playing this week, but the coach says he has things to work on, and he knows better than us! Hopefully he works on them, and comes back a better player. Those of you saying that he will leave the club because of this are clueless. If it makes him work hard to get a spot, then it is a good thing. Leave it at that!

So why all the jumping up and down about a player not getting a game!!Ain't many blokes in our team that don't.
And you think you know what he needs to work on!! I understand what youre saying, but youre also assuming your assumption is accurate.Pretty much the whole side has shown an incapability to do the supposed things he has to "work on".
We have an opportunity to build for our future now. But instead of getting games into our younger players we persist with the mediocre known quantities who play week in, week out without consequence.

Scott is a deadset plonked.
