I think the points gained by going early are negated by the lack of evidence in choosing the right player, but I`d go Witherden in that case still.

2017 87 2018 87 until an injury in round 22.

Should be able to boost up to 92 minimum without much trouble I think.

Plus if they all averaged the same for the year you still end up better with Witherden as already missed out on what is likely to be a top or top 2 score for Newman and Salem.

Newman seems to have eaten into Simpson’s supply so could have a higher ceiling but always that threat. Salem has a few more question marks but no imposing threat; I’d prefer Newman.

The extra cash in option 2 would equal an extra premium next week, whereas Smith seems the better keeper option over Moore?
But then again option 1 is safe and should deliver without too much of a risk.
