I'll be hitting it up with my wife for her obligatory one game for the year. Looking forward to us competing with a stacked Dogs midfield and see how the likes of Fiorini, Bowes, Miller, Swallow, Miles and Martin stand up against the likes of Bontempelli and Macrae.

I know the H&A season is different but let's not forget we beat the Dogs a few weeks ago in Cairns. The boys would take confidence from that and know we can grind out a close game, should it play out that way. Having said that, we need to be considerably better in front of goal if we're going to get the 4 points in this one. Can't wait to see how we go!

We were really good 2 weeks ago against St Kilda. Hopefully we bring that same accuracy this Sunday.

This could be a close game but come on .. JLT?

Dogs did not even try in that mickey mouse stuff, as results have shown so far. Didn't even play a forward line

Unfortunately unless it is raining it won't be. Doesn't make viewing the best with patches of sun and shade on the field
They say slight chance of showers. Not much, so hard to know whether they will close it. They would start closing it at some point, as its usually closed during winter.

After sitting in Marvel to watch our game against the Saints, would love for them to close the roof.
It’s a horrible stadium, faces the wrong direction so one team has the sun in there face, if the roof is open the patches of shadow make it a viewing debacle and when closed it’s like an ice box.

Now I know why it’s called Marvel stadium as it’s as shit as the last movie

A bit worried about this one. Our midfield has performed well so far and more than broken even in both matches. But we have faced two fairly pedestrian midfields so far compared to the Bulldogs. It’s gonna take a huge effort from all involved in there to curb the influence of Bontempelli, McRae, Libba, etc. Will be a good test for us.

It’s not really comparable. Also wasn’t really a need for this was there?

To be fair, both have viewing issues because of sun and shade. So they are comparable on that front.

The only difference is we can close our roof

Swirling breezes is part of footy... we don't want to be playing footy in basketball stadiums.. I for one want to see the physicality and the opportunity for the really skilled players to stand out...
I thought you were talking about viewers not being able to see the action..
As for other team's supporters getting involved.. I'm all for it.. if we all had the same opinion life would be pretty boring, bit like watching footy in basketball stadiums all the time...
But doggy, is it ok we still play with oval ball or should we get a round one?

Just looking at the stats on AFL website
Dogs played Gowers, Lloyd, Mclean, Dunkley in JLT Naughton played defence

So added Naughton, Schache, Dickson?
Didn't see the Hawthorn game but looks like Schache played the game of his career.

I think we'll go
Schache - Collins
Naughton - Hombsch
Gowers - Ballard

Although be ok with any variety of the above

Doggy talks like the bulldogs own Marvel.. haha
You've obviously been to Metricon a number of times hey?

I cant believe you guys are all getting sucked in by a troll on the internet. look at the posts pretty obvious the reaction he wanted...
