Was that you Stormie :p
Lol, No. if it were me I'd go after one of the areas of our club that would be legitimate to troll about win/loss record etc... Our stadium? really? its a pretty bloody good stadium. probably only behind Adelaide and Perth IMO.

MCG is clearly the best .. not even close

Metricon is behind the Gabba too

Though i would not be surprised if there are a few changes because it's a 5 day break before Collingwood round 4

You suggesting playing a few guys that aren't best 22 against us so you can then have a fresh best 22 team vs Collingwood?
Dangerous game to be playing.

Would agree!

Hopefully a few teams play that game before they catch on that we are not a rollover team like we once were

If i plan to go to Melbourne to watch a game I stop planning if its at the MCG. the ground is simply too big and the facilities too old to be enjoyable. Etihad is a much better experience. Only watched cricket at the Gabba so cant comment on Footy, but its also showing its age.

Maybe once they spend all those squillions they got selling Grandfinal exclusivity to refurb the MCG i might try it again, when its back on the same level as the modern stadia around the country...

No.. because it is a 5 day break.. so a change or two wouldn't surprise for that reason .. it is why JJ isn't playing this week

it's not an arrogant thing

Don't worried too much I prefer the underdog tag . Win a bonus ,lost expected .

But you're suggesting to make unforced changes to the team this week with next weeks game in mind..
Anyway, we'll revisit how the game went post match.

Same here, hate going into games as "favourite". We always seem to lose our hard edge. So many times over the last few years I've seen us struggle against the likes of Carlton, etc.

Much prefer underdog status. If we don't go in with the frenzied hunger for the contested ball we'll get rolled. Bit worried to be honest. Good luck for Sunday.

I believe over the next 10 years they are gonna be rebuilding the southern stand. Its the oldest of the stands (no lifts etc) and its been quite a while since they last upgraded.

I only attend no more than 4 games a year at marvel, since pies are MCG tennants. But I don't mind the place, unlike some supporters.

Jesus, don't even talk to us about Carlton, the last two years at home, both times we have performed well enough the previous week to think we should get the win, both times we have been done. Even if we beat the Dogs by 700 goals next week, I am still going into Round 4 against Carlton with a respectable level of uncertainty.

100%.....we are a long way from trusting our blokes to be consistent.

We need to dig in against Dogs and hang in as long as we can. Look for Miller to do a similar job on Bont that he did with Fyfe who ended up with 31 touches, but hardly torched us.

Only issue is if Bont doesn't step up, Libba, Macrae, Hunter and Mclean are all very capable as well. Their midfield bats real deep.

Don't think anyone's going out. Great to have minimal changes so far.
Its too many players. When you have 4 ins, people need to go out, unfortunately. Unless those INS aren't gonna be the final ins?
