Before I continue, I'll just say I'm aware that there is a history of smoke-bombing on these competitions. I've spoken to one of the mods to make sure this is all above board, and I have seen that designers on here that have had their work been used by a club have gotten a jumper for their effort. If you want to heavily watermark the logos until I've found the winner, go for it. If I had the graphic design skills to remove them, I wouldn't be here.
With that in mind:
The Outline
We need a logo. There is a new women's team forming in Stockholm. Based out of Årsta, they had had GWS's help with starting up so will be called the Giants. Whether the name will be the Årsta Giants or the South Stockholm Giants hasn't been confirmed yet.
The Brief
A logo, charcoal, orange and white. As the name isn't confirmed yet, I'll ask the winning designer to change the name to South Stockholm or Årsta, depending on what we go with (assuming they chose the wrong name on their design).
If you're looking for local inspiration, the two landmarks nearby are Årstabron and Globen.
Payment
$50 aud or a training singlet, although given that the singlets will be women's, I don't know what value that holds for some do you. I can pay with PayPal or Australia bank transfer.
The decision
Once the designs have been brought in, I'll take them to the board and discuss them (this seems to be the danger point for many competitions, however this should be a relatively painless process as it's me and two other people).
In the event that GWS comes in and wants us to use a stylised G, I'll still reward the winner on BF.
Deadline
Actually really tight. Our first game is April 27 and a lot needs to get done. Does a week sound fair? Wednesday April 10 at midnight AEST?
