If the Chinese wanted to invade Australia they could have done so any time within the last decade without breaking a sweat.

The conspiracy theory is amusing and the voters in WA at least have largely switched off to UAP's claims and mock Clive Palmer.
Palmer was selling his Nickel Ore to China

The more the NLP argue against establishing a Federal ICAC, the more you know we need one
Just like we desperately needed a royal commission on the banks that they blocked for ages....

And a royal commission into the paedo priests that they also blocked for as long as possible

Cant quite put my finger on it - Its almost like the liberal party are out for themselves and their mates and the rest of us can go ead.

I heard a theory you need to be corrupt to rise in the ranks, the brokers like you in power when they have dirt on you
I have a mate whos idea is that they control a large portion of pollies who are paedos in europe. They literally own you then - if they tell you to say the sky is green you will ask what shade.

UAP are offering pensioners $150pw rise in pensions (ok there is a misleading advert on youtube) it said pw. This says PF

Currently Australian pensioners are paid less than what asylum seekers are paid a fortnight. This is a disgrace and by increasing the aged pension by 20 per cent the Palmer United Party will provide pensioners with an additional $150 a fortnight.”

Lie.

Actually they cant - they dont have a blue water navy - force projection requires a blue water navy that can sustain itself and a couple of aircraft carriers at sea for extended periods or your expensive expedition will lie at the bottom of the ocean.

Make no mistake the chinese are developing this capability - but they dont currently have the ability to force project much past their own region.

They have one functioning aircraft carrier - a refitted old soviet carrier and own a couple of others for study purposes (including hmas melbourne) and one in completion

The one they have is small in comparison to a yank carrier carrying 48 aircraft designed more for ground support- their second one will have a few more.

Any invasion force would have the carriers targeted and sunk expeditiously by sub or aircraft - then all you have is a big mass of targets - essentially defenceless without a carrier.

Any serious force projection would require a bunch of carriers - with several specialising in interdiction.

By the time they have that we will have the jsf - which despite the bad press will be basically clubbing baby harp seals when matched against the chinese development of the sukhoi.

And they were blocking the RC into disability care until recently. People are yet to connect the dots on what LNP donors had a vested interest in that RC not happening

The best political party that money can buy....

Colin Barnett says Palmer preference deal will be unpopular with metro voters
Former West Australian Liberal Premier Colin Barnett has warned of a backlash from metropolitan voters if the federal party does a preference deal with Mr Palmer.
Mr Barnett said a majority of voters believed the Queensland Senate hopeful was unsuitable to sit in any parliament and his record in public affairs as "appalling".
"Many Liberal supporters - soft or swinging supporters - will react adversely towards to any sort of deal Palmer," he told ABC radio on Friday.
"The consequence will be maybe in some country areas, the Liberal Party will hold on to some seats but in other areas, particularly metropolitan cities, there is a danger of a backlash."

Remember all those cartoons back in the day that constantly depicted Kennett with his Foot in his Mouth

I just had a look at some liberal stooges in the age discussion forum and let me just say I’m going to really enjoy your sadness on May 18

Somehow now a refusal to hold a third fourth or fifth debate is ‘hiding from scrutiny’ even though Bill has said he will hold a third.

These things are broadcast numbers poison anyway. Channels probably glad they don’t have too many debates anyway

Meanwhile calm ALP posters pointing out if scomo was so keen, why did he shut down parliament as much as possible since becoming PM.
