Forgive the interruption but I watched the Hinkley press conference and it reminded me of the Graham Arnold (socceroos) garbage that gets trotted out. Both seem to not have any discernible game plan.

Really appreciate the work Koch and Co did in saving us, but 10 years now. 2 Prelims in 2 years says we should be threatening a GF. The reality as we saw last night is that we are miles away from a club like the Demons. I don’t dislike Ken but he’s had his chance and the players looks devoid of desire. It’s time for Koch and the board to pull the trigger. Unfortunately who’s out there? Clarko is on a sabbatical and Buckley’s not leaving Melbourne. I think we are in for some pain in 2022.

Ken is way worse mate. At least Arnold has won a few A-League titles and has had some domestic success. But as an international manager yes, he's been a disaster.

Ken on the other hand hasn't even made it as a senior coach to a grand final, let alone actually winning one. I'm not sure there is a less tactically astute coach in the league than Ken. You could put half of the Port supporters from Big Footy in Ken's role on gameday and dare I say they'd do no worse than Ken in that role.

Koch is undoing all the good work he and that administration did, he wont be remembered for pulling us out of the whole we were in. He will be remembered for backing in a dud coach for far to long, being to ignorant and arrogant to do what was needed and burning the opportunity to win potentially multiple premierships.

He needs to think about what he is remembered for at Port Adelaide.

Backing a dud coach for far to long and letting his ego get in the way and costing the club success.

Or does he want to be remembered for pulling the club out of a financial hole, and being behind the best pre game experience in the AFL ?

Missus had 5AA on this morning and I caught the tail end of a regular Monday chat Pinbutty and Goodings Jnr have with Koch to talk about finance, world affairs and of course footy.

Heard them questioning a few aspects of the loss, and Koch's general tone was of mild disappointment, but along the lines of "we'll sift through the aftermath and address any concerns".

But not really a time for over reacting. We won't be changing game plans, etc (read that as not coaches either?)

Steady as she goes and keep the faith with our tactical Maestro.

David King has ruled a line through our club for the rest of the year. Not a great fan of King, but it does show the media's love affair with us and our coach may be waning.

First Tredders, then Kane, now King.

Just needs to accept he made a mistake and move Ken out asap.

He’s done great things for us, but that is fast being undone. His time has passed and he needs to go.

remarkable the so called financial guru hasn't been able to reduce our debt over his 10 years in-control, despite constantly being at the pointy end of the membership & home game attendance ladder isn't it. Time for the AFL to give this guy the flick.

We're a poor club

Poor clubs only need to pay for 6 months of their remaining contract.

If they do it now they'll be able to go in with a full soft cap to spend on for 2023 to gut the coaches box and hire some actual talent in there.

Is this real? Like do you have a linky / some form of proof? Paying Ken out + a new coach is out of the question as at today, but if it's 6 mths, that's a whole different ball game, surely...
