Ok so who's done the maths? How much do we have to win by, and GWS lose by for us to make the finals?

Geelong will take care of the Dogs.

Roughly, GWS would need to lose by 100, we would need to win by around 150 points

It's an indictment on the club that I don't really care what happens this weekend. I remember the days where every game meant something, my day/weekend/week seemed to ebb and flow with the fortunes of the club.

I like it when we do well but it's always fleeting. I don't really give a shit when we lose as this club isn't worth the emotional investment I have put into them for over 40 years. I'm glad I saw some good times, many good times to be honest, but over the last 20-odd years they've just whittled away at my ability to give a ****.

No doubt I'll be more interested if they ever come back to being a good, respectable club but I doubt I'll ever get to the levels of semi-fanatical supporter that I once was.

Collingwood by minimum 70 points.

No changes for mine except walla in for injured guelfi.

Keep the spotlight on them, make them show up on the brightest stage of the footy weekend and see what happens.
No final game announcements, no show and dance.
Those that may be considering it can go into the game unsure if this is their final game.

Then you retire the players that need to be in the offseason.

This!
My sentiments exactly - we have been beaten down.
(But at least we got to experience 1993, 2000 etc.) I was an EFC nuffy back then. Now... notsomuch!

No positive response please, if we respond just a little the club will hang their hat on that all off season.

Pressure is off, we probably win this game sadly.

the response from the previous two weeks was enough evidence that the players are either not listening, message not getting through or simply not up to it

If we want a response, that ship sailed yesterday
Bold would be my view. We have the same issues as last year but it is not surprising as it is 80% the same team .
